Job Summary
Implement in-game promotions and coordinate game-to-game contestants during Miami HEAT home games. Collaborate with department staff on setup and breakdown for pre-game activations, auditions, and special events. Work with HOOP Troop and Burnie for game day preparation, community events, and Jr. HEAT camps, clinics, and related activities. Track and maintain marketing inventory while ensuring cleanliness of marketing cages and trailers. Must be available to work all home games, select weekend events, and evenings as needed. Heavy lifting of 50+ pounds will be required at times.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take direction, meet deadlines, support multiple high-level positions, and balance multiple tasks
- Must be available to work all HEAT home games, select weekend events, and evenings as needed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Enrolled in a college or university or graduated from a 4-year accredited college/university
- Heavy lifting of 50+ pounds will be required at times
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information
- Demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy
- Strong teamwork aptitude required
- Strong customer service skills required
- The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks
- Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Marketing, event planning, and project management experience preferred
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
