Job Summary

Open the 50/50 Raffle office and prepare technology, then sell tickets to guests at Capital One Arena while approaching fans before, during, and after games. Assign selling locations and handheld devices to sellers, void tickets as needed, and assist with final sales reports. Troubleshoot raffle technology or device issues, handle electronic transactions securely, and respond to fan inquiries about the program and MSE Foundation. Provide winning raffle information to game entertainment staff and promote the raffle initiative. Achieve fundraising targets for each game. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays from October through June, requiring availability for at least half the monthly raffle games.

Required Qualifications

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays from October through June
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, well-spoken and determined to make sales on behalf of MSE Foundation
  • A responsible and motivated individual unafraid to approach guests with a sales pitch
  • Willing to become familiar with the 50/50 Raffle software program
  • Ability to interact positively and empower team members
  • Detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • Must be available for at least half of the 50/50 raffle games each month
  • Able to walk, stand, and climb in an indoor setting for 4-5 hours at a time
  • Must be timely and arrive to work on time
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Interest in sports philanthropy or nonprofit fundraising preferred
