Job Summary
Execute pre-game arena setup, post-game breakdowns, and official game day timelines to ensure seamless event operations. Prepare promotional items, signage, and contest materials while coordinating partner activations and on-ice promotions. Support staff meetings, manage equipment inventory, and facilitate communication between departments for efficient execution. Assist with fan engagement initiatives, guest services, and giveaway distributions to maintain an engaging atmosphere. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for the Columbus River Dragons home schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school seniors or currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program
- preferably in Sports Management, Event Management, Business, Communications, Recreation, or a related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Comfortable interacting with fans, partners, staff, and community members
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the River Dragons home schedule
- Reliable transportation and housing in the Columbus, Georgia area
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods during events
