Job Summary
Scrape the playing surface of ice shavings during media timeouts and assist in executing all in-arena game presentation activities, including promotions, anthems, color guard, ceremonies, and mascot duties. Greet fans as they enter and exit the arena, answer questions accurately, and interact with the community while distributing promotional items. Collaborate with the team to implement game day strategies, prepare for pre-game, manage in-game elements, and complete post-game duties. Represent the Rockford IceHogs brand professionally and assist with other events as assigned. Commit to the full 2026-27 season, including all 36 home games and playoffs, with availability from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have very strong skating abilities
- Must be able to commit to the entire Rockford IceHogs 2026-27 season including attending preseason meetings and training sessions, working all 36 regular-season home games and playoff games
- Availability for game days from 3:00pm - 10:00pm is a must
- Must be able to commit to AT LEAST 75% of the season
- Must have excellent teamwork skills and exhibit a willingness to help your co-workers succeed
- Must possess strong communication skills, an outgoing and positive attitude, and enjoy interaction with fans
