Job Summary

Set up and tear down select athletic events while serving as a chain gang member, ball shagger, doorman, ticket sales agent, floor sweeper, or penalty box handler. Create and maintain relationships with other student workers and assist in hosting conference and national postseason events. Attend all home games for assigned sports, including evenings, weekends, and break events, while remaining adaptable to schedule changes. Lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. This role requires current Bethel University student status and was initiated by a lead coach's request.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a current Bethel University student
  • Had to of been asked by a lead coach to apply
  • Attend necessary meetings
  • Responsible for attending all home games for assigned sports (includes evenings, weekends, some afternoons and some break events)
  • Must be adaptable to cover schedule changes
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Team player with interest and passion for athletics
  • Servant's heart
  • Need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Standing on feet for extended periods of time
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
