Job Summary
Execute in-arena game presentation activities including promotions, anthems, color guard, ceremonies, intermission entertainment, handouts, and mascot duties. Greet all members and guests entering and exiting the arena while distributing promotional items and giveaways. Work as a team to implement game day strategies, participate in pre-game preparation and post-game duties, and answer fan questions accurately. Engage in fan interactions with and without the mascot, assist other departments with initiatives, and represent the IceHogs brand professionally. Commit to the full 2026-27 season from September through April, including all 36 regular-season and playoff games from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Must be able to commit to the entire Rockford IceHogs 2026-27 season
- Must be able to commit to attending preseason meetings and training sessions
- Must be able to commit to working all 36 regular-season home games and playoff games
- Must be available for game days from 3:00pm - 10:00pm
- Must be able to commit to being available at least 75% of the season
- Must have excellent teamwork skills
- Must exhibit a willingness to help co-workers succeed
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Must have an outgoing and positive attitude
- Must enjoy interaction with fans
- Should exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports industry
- Should be comfortable interacting with and being around a large group of people
