Job Summary
Lead a team of game-art professionals to produce high-quality slot game art for Light & Wonder’s online casino titles. Responsibilities include directing art direction, creating concept art, character design, lighting and color considerations, producing digital renders, collaborating with designers and animators, developing assets across various styles, and contributing to game ideas and themes. Requires a strong portfolio, 5+ years in game art production, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, and the ability to work under deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in game art production
- A complete portfolio showing outstanding illustration and digital painting skills
- Excellent hand-drawn skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to take direction and accept constructive feedback
- Experience leading or mentoring artists
- Experience in game art production for slot or casino games
- Knowledge of lighting and color in digital art
- Experience with various art styles (cartoon, semi-realistic, etc.)
- Experience with creating concept art, game icons, and lobby screens
- Experience with AI-powered art tools a plus
- Experience in a gaming or casino industry environment
- Windows OS proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrates a high level of technical and stylistic versatility
