Galvanizing Technician I 2nd shift

Galvanizing production worker on 2nd shift will operate equipment that chemically cleans grease, scale, and dirt from metal objects to prepare them for galvanizing. Responsibilities include loading objects on cranes and racks through a sequence of chemicals and rinsing baths, inspecting cleaned objects to ensure standards are met, and adhering to safety rules (report hazards or injuries to the Team Leader). Ability to work overtime and weekends as required. Must wear PPE and be able to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work environment is manufacturing with conditions such as cold, heat, bright sun, noise, and nuisance dusts. Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged; must be at least 18 years old. Requires basic math and the ability to understand written or diagrammatic instructions. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.
