Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to adults and geriatrics directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Gallup, NM. Assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop treatment plans, including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Roles available as Full-time or Part-time with flexible scheduling; compensation options include W2 billable hourly or 1099 independent contractor. Licensure in New Mexico required (Nursing and Pharmacy), DEA for prescribing controlled substances, malpractice insurance if IC. Minimum 1 year of geriatric psych experience and 1 year in SNFs/acute rehab settings. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in New Mexico by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
