Job Summary
Facilitator role at the Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina, supporting exhibitions and programs, enhancing patron access and learning, and assisting with gallery operations. Responsibilities include engaging patrons, providing reference material, working with the Curator and Head of Engagement, maintaining safety and order, assisting maintenance, recording visitor statistics, and opening/closing the Gallery. Requires Grade 12 and post-secondary study in Fine Arts, 9 months to 1 year of direct customer care, independent work ability, familiarity with Artist/Gallery references, and strong communication. Includes commitment to an inclusive, customer-centred public service environment.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12, plus up to two years of post secondary study in Fine Arts
- Nine months to 1 year of direct customer care experience
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of a variety of Artist/Gallery related reference sources
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
