Job Summary
ACT/SAT Tutor delivers one-on-one and small-group instruction to high school students to help them prepare for and succeed on ACT, SAT, and PSAT exams using an existing curriculum supplemented by additional materials. Reports to the Education Director who conducts tutor trainings and ongoing professional development, with monthly trainings and a requirement to be in/around Madison, WI for 18 months. Compensation starts at $30-$50/hour with paid training, referral bonuses, and annual increases.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in education as a teacher or tutor
- Score at or above percentile on ACT/SAT or equivalent
- Flexibility in evenings and/or weekends
- Commitment to at least eight hours per week during summer and school year
- Attend monthly evening training
- Plan to be in/around Madison, WI for at least 18 months
