Job Summary
Perform general custodial tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, repairing, and painting to maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and healthy condition. Keep a simple inventory of supplies and ensure common areas, classrooms, restrooms, offices, and outdoor spaces remain orderly. Communicate any maintenance or safety concerns to the Program Director promptly and assist with minor repairs or coordinate with vendors when necessary. Follow daily and weekly work schedules to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining cooperative relationships with staff, children, parents, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Related experience in general custodial duties, including cleaning, repairing, and painting
- Ability to read and write to follow written work schedules and instructions
- Ability to maintain a simple inventory of supplies
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with staff, children, parents, and visitors
- Ability to ensure the facility is consistently clean and safe
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency diploma
