Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end group monthly consolidation and oversee month-end close processes for corporate entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Manage geographic entity reporting, transfer pricing policies, and FRS 102 technical updates, while driving systems optimisation and automation within Sage Intacct. Develop rolling cash flow forecasts, monitor daily liquidity positions, and optimise working capital across global jurisdictions. Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring statutory compliance and smooth audit cycles. Oversee global payroll operations and balance sheet reconciliations, while implementing internal financial controls to safeguard assets.
Required Qualifications
- Fully ACA/ACCA qualified
- Ability to leverage AI tools and financial automation platform capabilities to streamline workflows, enhance data analysis, and improve process efficiency
- Ability to communicate to different stakeholders in the business and manage external stakeholders where required
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with team members to delivers common goals
- Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail
- Ability to manage work load and organise work streams
- Strong Excel Skills, basic (VLookup/Pivot Tables) are Essential
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and ability to grasp technical accounting matters and apply to real time scenarios
- Strong understanding of monthly consolidation processes and requirements
- Strong understanding of key compliance and reporting requirements
- Ability to grasp commercial aspects of the numbers
- Ability to work independently on projects and work through challenges to deliver an effective result
- Be able to summarise and deconstruct large volumes of data into an understandable form
- Understanding of risk factors from a financial and operational perspective for the business
