Job Summary
Set up, issue, maintain, and calibrate gages for measuring and testing equipment while troubleshooting issues as required. Review and interpret drawings, process sheets, and specifications to perform inspections using various test instruments to determine conformance. Assist associates in proper equipment use and train others in safety, quality, and inspection protocols. Maintain accurate daily inspection records and keep work areas orderly. Handle regulated waste in accordance with federal and state regulations. Work the weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 5:00am to 5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic math & computer skills
- Tooling & Master Selection / Storage
- Check in / out of Gage Control System
- Setup, adjust, and maintain ID/OD/TD/TL Gages
- Basic calibration (bore pin, micrometers's, etc...)
- Strong ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and in a team along with solid training and mentoring skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Situational/Spatial awareness along with strict adherence to PPE/safety protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Basic gage maintenance
- Set up and basic troubleshooting on Mfg or Assy gages
