Job Summary
Set up, adjust, and maintain ID/OD/TD/TL gages while performing testing and inspections using various instruments to determine conformance to specifications. Review and interpret drawings, process sheets, and operating instructions; check in and out of the Gage Control System and manage tooling storage. Assist and instruct associates on proper equipment use, train others in safety and quality protocols, and maintain accurate daily inspection records. Perform basic calibration and troubleshooting on manufacturing or assembly gages, ensuring strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols. Work Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 1:00am with Friday overtime, earning $27.00-$33.50. This role supports Timken Aerospace in Keene, NH, contributing to improved efficiency and reliability of machinery in motion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic math & computer skills
- Tooling & Master Selection / Storage
- Check in / out of Gage Control System
- Setup, adjust, and maintain ID/OD/TD/TL Gages
- Basic calibration (bore pin, micrometers's, etc...)
- Strong ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and in a team along with solid training and mentoring skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Situational/Spatial awareness along with strict adherence to PPE/safety protocols
