Job Summary
Set up, adjust, and maintain ID/OD/TD/TL gages while performing testing and inspections using various instruments to determine conformance to specifications. Review and interpret drawings, process sheets, and operating instructions; assist and instruct associates on proper equipment use. Maintain accurate daily inspection records, keep work areas orderly, and troubleshoot gages as required. Check in and out of the Gage Control System and handle regulated waste in accordance with federal and state regulations. Work Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:00pm with Friday overtime, earning $24.00-$30.50.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic math & computer skills
- Tooling & Master Selection / Storage
- Check in / out of Gage Control System
- Setup, adjust, and maintain ID/OD/TD/TL Gages
- Basic calibration (bore pin, micrometers's, etc...)
- Strong ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and in a team along with solid training and mentoring skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Situational/Spatial awareness along with strict adherence to PPE/safety protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Basic gage maintenance
- Set up and basic troubleshooting on Mfg or Assy gages
