Gage Calibration Technician / Part Marking

Job Summary
Calibration and recordkeeping of I.M.&T.E. (Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment) used for product acceptance. Calibrate in accordance with Industry Standard Practice per Enjet, customer, or equipment manufacturer procedures; arrange calibration with approved suppliers when capability is unavailable; review and approve supplier calibration certificates; identify I.M.&T.E. with calibration labels; maintain timely, accurate documentation; establish own work schedule to keep calibration cycles; coordinate MSAs and Gage R&R studies; assist in marking department during peak times; maintain a clean work area; communicate calibration interval recommendations to supervision; interface with internal departments and external calibration suppliers; work independently to address equipment failures or malfunctions; participate in marking when needed; perform duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge of most typical measuring equipment used in manufacturing.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- General computer knowledge.
- Ability to interface with other internal departments and individuals as well as external calibration suppliers.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, particularly to address equipment failures or malfunctions.
- Marking experience not required but is a preferred.
