Gaffney High School - Science Teacher

Instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated while employing effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning environment. Plan and implement a program of study that meets individual student needs, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and media to establish clear objectives. Write daily and long-term lesson plans, administer appropriate assessments, and interpret test scores to improve instruction. Diagnose learning disabilities, maintain accurate cumulative records, and provide homework to reinforce daily learning. Utilize technology to enhance student learning and participate in required staff development sessions. Report accidents, injuries, and suspicions of abuse or neglect to the principal and appropriate agencies. Maintain proper classroom and school order, ensure student safety, and cooperate with all reasonable instructions from administration.
