Job Summary
Nexplore Instructor responsible for delivering in-person STEM/STEAM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to students in grades PreK-12 at the Valdosta site. You will follow provided lesson plans and curriculum, prepare for instruction, manage instructional materials, and teach according to standard-aligned objectives. Reporting to a Program Success Manager, duties include reviewing lesson plans, arriving on time, maintaining site expectations, engaging in professional communication with site staff, delivering engaging instruction from Nexplore’s 80+ programs, and participating in family engagement efforts. Schedule is part-time (Mon-Fri, typical class times 1:00–6:00 PM, with 60-minute blocks) at Valdosta, GA, with compensation of $45 per hour per class. Requires reliable transportation and completion of mandatory training. Compensation is per class or assignment. This role fits an educator aiming to grow professionally and positively impact student learning.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
