Job Summary
G Driver responsibilities include safely loading, transporting and operating equipment including the fleet, heating fleet, and propane bottles; ensuring loads are secured and unloaded safely within customer time parameters; handling up to a 9,000 lb haul in an F450; delivering solutions-based service, advising the manager of customer complaints, ensuring equipment and accessories are with tools, and maintaining inventory and paperwork accuracy. The role requires professional conduct, on-site safety adherence, daily vehicle inspections, fueling at day’s end, and upkeep of truck cleanliness, with PPE compliance and adherence to SOPs and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year driving and delivery experience
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Must be able to lift and load up to 50lbs
- Competencies to include safe driving, backing up a truck using mirrors only, hydraulic bed operation for equipment delivery and pickup
- PPE: hard hat, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest/uniform, safety glasses
