Job Summary
The Data Analyst Internship provides hands-on experience as part of the data analytics team, where interns will engage in projects that support business decision-making through data insights. Interns will actively analyze data to improve the Mercari app and maximize marketing effectiveness while working in a collaborative environment with diverse teams. Key responsibilities include proposing improvements and tackling complex issues across the company. The role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, SQL, and a collaborative spirit to contribute to Mercari's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient (CEFR - C1) level Japanese
- Basic (CEFR - A2) level English is welcomed
- Strong willingness to work as a data analyst at Mercari after graduation
- Interest in leadership and organizational building within Mercari
- Ability to enjoy change and take bold challenges in difficult situations
- Experience utilizing the latest AI technologies and tools in projects
- Logical thinking ability to explain complex content clearly
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn to operate basics by the start of selection process
- Available to join Mercari as a full-time employee in October 2027 or April 2028
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of product development cycles
- Practical data analysis experience
