FY27 PT Teacher Assistant - Early Childhood Education

PT Teacher Assistant in Early Childhood Education supports teachers and helps supervise and implement instructional activities. Responsibilities include assisting in supervising ongoing activities, organizing and preparing instructional materials, reinforcing skills in small groups or individually, relieving teachers of clerical duties (checking tests, recording, filing), moderating discussions, assisting with special assignments, taking attendance, supervising testing, collecting and distributing materials, recording grades, assisting with classroom technology setup, preparing materials for homebound students, planning and supervising field trips, supervising students in various areas, giving first aid if qualified, and keeping the classroom organized and appealing. Requires readiness to perform housekeeping tasks related to classroom upkeep and to assist with general paperwork and communications for teachers.
