Job Summary
Welcome participants, prepare the meditation space, and record attendance for group Transcendental Meditation and Pranayama sessions at the Festival Hall or Patanjali Golden Dome. Lead morning or afternoon practices, guide participants through the session, and ensure a smooth transition before concluding. Share attendance records via Outlook with Dan Law, the supervisor for the Growth of Consciousness Department. This role supports MIU's culture of peace and coherence, offering students from Maharishi Vedic Science or Enlightenment & Leadership programs practical experience in leading group meditation and fostering a supportive campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- ONLY STUDENTS ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK-STUDY (FWS) MAY APPLY
- Ideally a Maharishi Vedic Science (MVS) major or an Enlightenment & Leadership student
- Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to the scheduled sessions
- Proficiency in Pranayama and TM, with the confidence to lead others
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming presence
Desired Qualifications
- keen students from other majors with strong grounding in their TM practice
