FW Technical Marketing Engineer

Job Summary
The FW/SW Technical Marketing Engineer owns end-to-end quality for firmware, software, drivers, and security across the product lifecycle (NPI through sustaining). Acts as a technical bridge between customers, support, R&D, and partners to identify issues, drive resolution, and improve customer satisfaction in FW/SW domains (firmware, software, drivers, networking, security). Responsibilities include leading quality readiness during early NPI, coordinating with R&D on design and qualification strategies, ensuring smooth transition from NPI to current products, managing customer escalations with root-ccause analysis and corrective action, prioritizing defects by severity and risk, validating fixes in realistic environments, and delivering clear documentation, release notes, and knowledge transfer. The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong problem-solving, and the ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, with a focus on continuous quality improvement across the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience in Firmware, Software, Drivers, Networking, or Security domains
- Experience supporting or managing product quality, technical support, or customer escalations in a complex technical environment
- Proven ability to analyze, isolate, and drive resolution of technical issues across multiple teams
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical issues, root cause, and resolution to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
