Job Summary
Oversee project safety, health, and environmental policies by observing work sites, stopping operations during immediate dangers, and enforcing local, state, and federal regulations. Lead active projects as the site EHS Professional, conducting audits, issuing violation reports, and coordinating with subcontractor safety reps to ensure compliance. Investigate and resolve field EHS issues, manage OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping, and coordinate safety committee meetings to deliver training on accident prevention. Order safety equipment packages and ensure proper distribution of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and AEDs. Work closely with third-party environmental consultants to maintain zero citations and drive corrective actions based on established guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in commercial building construction
- OSHA 30
- current First Aid
- CPR
- AED
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Safety and Health
