Job Summary
Teach and develop students' IEPs through direct instruction and coordination with local school staff. Plan and deliver instruction aligned to IEP goals, assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with parents. Prepare lessons, create a conducive classroom environment, and support district initiatives while ensuring student safety and well-being. Requires collaboration with principal, director of special education, and other school personnel; Certification in Mississippi teaching credential or emergency certification is required; in Brandon Middle School (Rankin County) with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Mississippi Teaching Credential or valid emergency certification issued by the state of Mississippi Educational Board
