Job Summary
Epirus is collecting resumes for future Mechanical Engineering opportunities, including roles in Mechanical Design, Structural Engineering, and Thermal Engineering. Responsibilities include designing and building RF-phased array structures, performing structural finite element analysis, creating CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings, and defining thermal management solutions. Key qualifications include a BS degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience with full product life cycles. The company seeks engineers who are comfortable with hands-on testing and have skills in GD&T. Candidates must have the required U.S. citizenship or residency under ITAR requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience includes at least 2 full product life cycles
- Demonstrated experience in applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, or similar engineering field
- Experience with CAD and drawing creation
- Demonstrated comfort with hands-on build and test of mechanical systems
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred
- Comfortable using hand calculations and developing internal tools to analyze thermal performance of complex systems
- Experience analyzing systems under static loading, shock, and vibrational environments, including random vibration
