Job Summary
Plan, develop, and implement the futsal program curriculum; supervise and instruct futsal lessons; maintain supervision of participants; enforce safety standards; follow emergency procedures; set up equipment; supervise volunteers; monitor facility use; implement character development in programs; maintain clean, presentable spaces; handle member/parent complaints; prepare materials for classes/clinics; track attendance; provide outstanding member service; assist in promoting and ensuring participant retention; promote a safe and welcoming environment; adhere to YMCA policies and procedures; up to 25 hours/week in a part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of futsal programming and instruction or equivalent education/training/experience
- Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles
- YMCA experience preferred
- State of Michigan criminal background clearance (ICHAT)
- Blood Borne Pathogen training
- CPR Certification within the first 90 days
- First Aid Certification within the first 90 days
