Job Summary
Join a skilled manufacturing and assembly team as a Fusion Welder, performing GMAW and FCAW welding. Requires high school diploma and 2 years of experience, with focus on quality and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in welding processes
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools for weld and part verification
- Certified or capable of qualifying to AWS D17.1 requirements
- Experience with overhead crane operation, mechanical assembly, and basic fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must be computer literate and proficient in word, excel, and basic data entry
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or welding certification preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and flexible hours as required
