Job Summary
Operates equipment that fuses piping and installs custom HDPE piping systems; performs electro fusion and structural welds, inspects fusion quality, communicates with customers to assess installation/repair needs, ensures final product meets quality standards, transports equipment to job sites, operates field equipment and forklifts, provides on-call emergency repair coverage, and travels overnight less than 10% of the time. Requires MVR check and compliance with company policies. Minimum education is HS Diploma or GED with 2-5 years of relevant experience; specialized training or McElroy fusion operator qualification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 18
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 2-5 years experience in area of responsibility
- Specialized skills training/certification may be required
- McElroy-qualified fusion operator (preferred)
- Knowledge of construction job sites
- Ability to pass pre-employment assessments (if applicable)
- Ability to travel overnight <10% of the time
- Operates field equipment and forklift
- Able to transport equipment to job site
- Able to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs) or awkward material
