Job Summary
Manage inbound and outbound furniture operations by receiving purchase orders, staging products, and picking customer orders while ensuring SKU and quantity accuracy. Direct less experienced associates through proper methods and procedures, monitor Central Furniture System task completion, and resolve discrepancies by reporting shortages or damage to management. Coordinate vendor shipments, schedule deliveries, and perform physical inventories while adhering to safety procedures and operating warehouse equipment.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of twelve (12) months related experience in a warehouse environment
- any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
- good PC skills
- good math skills
- good writing skills
- good reading skills
- ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity
- The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
- The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand
- The employee may operate warehouse equipment
- Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties
