Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and repair damaged merchandise including wood, upholstery, and microfiber items with minimal supervision. Identify manufacturing defects versus delivery damage, accurately mix colors, and complete touch-ups independently. Fill out damage sheets using proper codes and perform Well/Bay work, excluding leather repairs. This developmental role prepares you for Finisher III training in wood, leather, and reupholstering while maintaining team flexibility. Operates in a warehouse setting with exposure to hazardous materials and power tools. Requires a high school diploma, prior Finisher I completion, and at least six months of furniture repair experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of Finisher I role
- Minimum of 6 months furniture repair experience
- Must represent Gardner-White Furniture as a professional ambassador
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
