Job Summary
Unpack and assemble furniture pieces following detailed instructions while inspecting items for damage. Exercise proper product handling techniques and lift or move objects up to 75 pounds, including team lifts exceeding that weight. Use small power tools and hand tools safely, and document all work according to standardized procedures. Perform these duties in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting with concrete flooring, standing, walking, and stooping for an entire shift. This role supports Broad River Retail's mission to furnish life's best memories as part of our largest and fastest-growing Ashley Furniture licensee in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow a detailed set of assembly instructions
- Ability to SAFELY use small power tools and hand tools
- Properly and safely use tools and box cutters
- Ability to stand, stoop, walk, and crouch, for an entire shift
- Willingness to collaborate with other teammates to perform task at hand
- Must be able to routinely lift or move objects up to 75 pounds alone
- Must be able to team lift objects over 75 pounds
