Job Summary
Pick up an 18-foot box truck, retrieve furniture from a national supplier, and deliver items to residential and commercial locations. Assemble furniture on-site efficiently, carry heavy loads including upstairs transport, and remove all packaging debris. Maintain clear communication with customers and team members while using a smartphone for job tracking. Work a full-time schedule in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments, performing additional store service work as assigned. This two-person team role supports national retail store setups and full remodels.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds regularly
- Must have own tools required for furniture assembly
- Proven experience in furniture assembly
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a full-time schedule
- Comfortable with physical labor, including stair carries
- Reliable transportation to pick up delivery truck
- Must own a smartphone and be willing to use it for work-related tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team
- Must be able to drive an 18-foot box truck
