Job Summary
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role involving hand-building upholstered furniture in a team setting, requiring standing up to 10 hours, frequent bending and lifting at least 50 lbs, and proficient use of staple, frame, and air tools to assemble components across upholstery, framing, cushions, final assembly, and packaging stages. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating workflow in the cell, following ticketed specifications, and applying glue, wax, and necessary tools to complete completed units for packaging and ship-ready finish.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties
- Completion of in-house training curriculum
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong coordination for routine, repetitive tasks
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
- Capacity to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Skilled use of hands for gripping, pulling, and tugging
