Job Summary
Furniture Assembly Tradesman responsible for assembling and installing a wide range of furniture for residential and commercial clients across DC, MD, and VA, including office and fitness equipment. Requires experience with power tools, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, reliable transportation, strong customer communication in English, and flexibility to work full-time or part-time, including evenings/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
- 1 year minimum experience in installations and assembly of furniture
- 1 year minimum experience assembling IKEA furniture
- Experience assembling office furniture and home furniture
- Must be able to move furniture and lift up to 100 lbs
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate with customers in English
- Advanced experience using power tools (cordless drill, corded drills, hammer, screwdriver)
- Ability to work Monday through Sunday and be available for overtime, evenings and weekends
- Legally allowed to work in USA
