Job Summary
Inspect and load product, perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, and lift heavy merchandise into customers' homes with no damages. Perform in-home customer service including settlements, document delivery status, and record mileage, fuel costs, and problems. Complete driver check-in with proper accounting of merchandise and invoicing. Requires a valid class 5 license, ability to lift over 50 lbs regularly, and flexibility for evening and weekend shifts. Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (class 5 only is needed) ~ Graduated is NOT sufficient
- Current Driver's Abstract
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis
- High school diploma or equivalent would be an asset but not mandatory
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
Desired Qualifications
- Delivery experience is an asset
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
