Job Summary
Monitor heat treating equipment operations, load and unload furnaces, bins, and fixtures, and prepare work for processing per written procedures. Assist with related equipment control and reporting of irregularities to supervisors while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Ensure customer inventory is treated and protected to prevent loss or damage. This safety-sensitive role requires forklift certification, English proficiency, and the ability to work in an industrial environment with potential exposure to heat and fumes. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to meet ITAR compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc
- Ability to hear in person and via phone
- Must be able to report for work on time
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must be able to interact effectively with co-workers
- Must be able to understand and follow rules and procedures
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism
- Must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements
