Job Summary
Define technical requirements and coordinate engineering activities for glass furnace plants, ensuring alignment with reliability, safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Collaborate with suppliers to design furnace plants and prepare technical project specifications for automation systems, control software, and electrical equipment. Coordinate suppliers by evaluating proposed solutions and verifying compliance with company standards while maintaining and updating technical documentation and plant layouts. Monitor supply progress against schedules and quality targets, promoting corrective actions for deviations, and supervise plant installation and construction activities on site. Analyze furnace plant performance during operation to optimize production efficiency and improve melting technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5/6 years of experience in similar roles within complex industrial environments
- Good knowledge of English language
- Leadership, good communication and relationship skills
