Job Summary
Funeral Services Assistant provides clerical and administrative support for funeral operations, including preparing for services (flowers, chairs, caskets, urns, keepsakes), preparing service documents, assisting with preparation of remains, answering phones and operating office equipment, running errands, serving as an usher or driver for services, and greeting families; requires high school diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license; part-time role located in Falls Church, VA, with duties spanning office tasks, service setup, and direct family support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred
- Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
