Funeral Services Assistant (part-time)

Job Summary
Provides clerical and administrative support for funeral operations and assists with services, including handling documents, greeting client families, setting up floral arrangements, and assisting with transportation. Responsible for office duties, coordinating service details, assisting on funeral, memorial and other services, attending and supporting visitations, and ensuring compassionate, professional interactions with families. Requires proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn database systems; valid driver’s license and clean driving record. The role includes preparing materials for services, assisting with the care and preparation of remains as applicable, driving funeral home vehicles for services, and supporting staff during events and ceremonies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service and/or sales preferred
- Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required
