Job Summary
Deliver and set up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, and personal keepsakes for funeral, memorial, and other services. Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed. Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing, lifting, and operating crematory equipment. Greet client families, answer phones courteously, and provide information on funeral and cremation services. Operate office equipment such as fax machines, computers, and debit card terminals while running errands for floral delivery and supply pickup. Serve as an usher, park cars, and drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pickups. Wash and clean Funeral Home and client vehicles as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience
- Proficient with MS Office suite and databases
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Professional behaviors and team player
- Ability and willingness to learn
