Funeral Service Assistant (part-time)

Prepare floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, and urns for funeral, memorial, and other services. Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting the deceased, or operating the crematory as permitted by law. Deliver and set up items for clients, greet families entering the office, and answer phones courteously. Operate office equipment such as fax machines, computers, and debit card machines while running errands for floral delivery and supply pickup. Drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and pick up families. Wash and clean funeral home and client vehicles as required. Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law. Attendance at monthly staff meetings is expected. Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
