Funeral Service Assistant (part-time)

Deliver and set up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, and photos for funeral, memorial, and other services. Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed by management. Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting deceased, or operating crematory equipment where permitted by law. Greet and receive client families, answer phones courteously, and provide information on funeral and cremation topics. Perform office duties such as answering phones, operating fax machines, computers, and postage meters. Run errands for floral delivery, supply pickup, and document retrieval. Serve as an usher, park cars, and drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pickups. Wash and clean Funeral Home and client vehicles as required. Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law. Attendance at monthly staff meetings is expected. Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
