Funeral Service Assistant (part-time)

Prepare floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, and urns for funeral, memorial, and other services. Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting deceased, or operating crematory equipment as permitted by law. Greet and receive client families, answer phones courteously, and provide information on funeral and cremation topics. Deliver and set up personal keepsakes, manage office duties such as operating fax machines and debit card terminals, and run errands for floral delivery and supplies. Serve as an usher, park cars, and drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and picking up families. Wash and clean funeral home and client vehicles as required. Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law. Attendance at monthly staff meetings is expected. Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
