Job Summary
Oversee funeral services and facility operations; supervise funeral directors; manage administrative and support services; develop and implement marketing strategies to grow client base; coordinate with government agencies and service organizations; handle contracts and customer concerns; supervise staff; may perform embalming; requires licensed funeral director and embalmer or ability to obtain license; degree in embalming/mortuary science; 5+ years in funeral-home operations; 1 year supervisory; valid driver's license; availability evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed funeral director and embalmer or the ability to obtain a state license
- Degree from an accredited school of embalming or mortuary science
- 5+ years of experience in the operations of a Funeral Home
- 1 year of supervisory or management experience
- Proven leadership ability, excellent customer service, sales and communication skills
- Must posses a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle
