Job Summary
As a Funeral Director, you will compassionately facilitate funeral arrangement discussions, preside over visitation and funeral services, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities include initiating calls to the deceased's next of kin, promoting and explaining funeral services, managing arrangements for various events, and interacting effectively with families to address their needs. Must possess strong cognitive abilities, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude towards the industry. Experience in the funeral service industry is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science
- Current Funeral Director license within the practicing state
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required to operate company owned vehicles
