Job Summary
As a part-time Funeral Director Embalmer, the role involves facilitating funeral arrangement discussions, presiding over services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing event planning responsibilities. Must possess a current dual license as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. Responsibilities include conducting Arrangements Conferences, providing guidance during services, and caring for the deceased. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to build relationships, knowledge of industry processes, and proficiency in automated systems. Physical demands include the ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds and flexibility for working outside normal hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science
- Current Funeral Director and Embalmer dual license within the practicing state
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required to operate company owned vehicles
