Job Summary
The Advance Planning Funeral Director is responsible for serving client families through pre-need arrangements with a strong emphasis on community engagement and personalized service. This role includes prospecting for leads, maintaining client relationships, and generating revenue. Essential duties involve engaging with families, responding to inquiries with empathy, and providing solutions for unique family needs. The position requires collaboration with funeral directors and staff, as well as ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction and support referrals. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant licenses, and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Insurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board
- State Funeral Directors License
- Funeral Directors License
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass the Company’s internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
- Must have the ability to work up to 12 hours in a day
- Ability to drive frequently
