Funeral Attendant (part-time)

Funeral Attendant (part-time) provides support before, during, and after funeral services. Responsibilities include preparing casket and deceased for visitation or funeral, dressing deceased, transporting casket, greeting and guiding family and visitors, pallbearer duties, driving families to cemetery, and after-services tasks such as removal and cleaning of property, as well as office duties including data entry, reception, screening calls, coordinating with staff, and mailroom tasks. Requires ability to work beyond standard hours including weekends and holidays, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; no prior work experience required; funeral-industry experience preferred.
